1. What this is
NextMAG is a software and data service for magnetic-field sensing: it reads NextMAG units over your own network, records and replays what they see, and estimates things from those readings (vehicle passes, DC current, geomagnetic disturbance). Accounts created on this site are evaluation accounts on the free Community plan. The units themselves are made and sold separately by the sensor maker and are not part of this service.
2. Estimates, not instruments
Every quantity the service shows is an estimate from passive magnetic readings and on-site calibration. It is not a protection relay, a compliance instrument, a revenue meter, or a safety system, and it must not be used as one. Do not rely on it where an error could cause injury or loss.
3. Your account
You create an account with an email address you control and sign in with one-time codes sent to it; there is no password. Keep that mailbox secure — anyone who can read it can sign in as you. A business account is managed by the person who created it, who may add teammates; each teammate is responsible for their own sign-in. You may close your account at any time by asking us; we may suspend an account that abuses the service or others.
4. Your data
Recordings, calibrations and settings you upload stay yours. We store them to provide the service to you and your team, and we do not sell them. We may look at aggregate, anonymised usage to improve the service. The privacy policy says what is collected and how to ask for deletion.
5. No warranty, no service level
The evaluation service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind and without an uptime, support or data-retention commitment. Free accounts may have limits (stations, seats, how far back data can be read) that we may change. We may change or withdraw the evaluation service with reasonable notice.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, NextMag LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the evaluation service, and its total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for it — which, for an evaluation account, is nothing.
7. Paid plans
Prices shown on this site are proposals, not offers. A paid plan is sold only under a separate written agreement or order form, which will replace these terms for that account.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms or your account: write to the address on the sign-in email you received, or to NextMag LLC through the contact details on this site.
